Enclosed
rail forms the backbone of any material handling system; and,
Ingersoll Rand offers six enclosed rail profiles in aluminum,
steel, and stainless steel.
The enclosed rail design reduces the accumulation
of dirt and grime on the internal surfaces, thus reducing
rolling effort.
These enclosed profiles feature lightweight,
precision running surfaces with less than 1% rolling resistance.
The aluminum rail is lightweight and available
in up to 30' sections. The steel enclosed rail is a strong,
economical choice ideal for heavy weight applications. Stainless
steel rail is ideal for clean room applications, for food
and pharmaceutical industries.
All the accessories, such as hanger kits, trolleys, safety
cables, and end stops, are provided to construct a complete
system. The entire system is easily bolted together and requires
no welding to assemble.
System load ratings are clearly marked on both
sides of the bridge rails and all hardware components are
rated at a 5:1 safety factor. Ingersoll Rand's primary and
vital concern is safety in all solutions for material handling
and lifting.
